Brightening the Teeth by Paint-on Teeth Whiteners

We wish to find different ways to whiten our teeth. A dentist performs specific process called teeth whitening to enhance its whiteness. A tray or a plastic strip is used by the teeth whiteners generally to make the whitening agent impart on the enamel for a longer period. However, as the name suggests, teeth whiteners are painted directly on the teeth in paint-on teeth whitening. So the process does not require use of any trays or strips. The chemical compound is bonded to the teeth. It forms an adhesive film after it gets dried, thus keeping the bleaching agent close to the tooth surface.
Paint-on teeth whitening can be done with safety at home. This is an economical way of whitening your teeth avoiding the expensive dental costs. A prolonging fresh effect can be given to your teeth without having a need to consult a dentist. Many paint-on teeth whiteners are available these days. However, use these teeth whiteners following the safety guidelines. Ensure that you read the directions of the over-the-counter tooth whitening products before use. A prolonged usage of these paint-on teeth whiteners can damage the enamel. Therefore make sure that your teeth are not spoiled by over-usage of these products. Though they are not that effective as tray or laser whitening, they give brightened teeth enough for a bright smile.

Different types of whiteners like hydrogen peroxide and carbamide peroxide are used. They act as bleaching agents. The treatment may be done overnight or within 30 minutes during day. So you should not eat and touch the teeth till the completion of the treatment. The product can be removed once the treatment is done through brushing.
