Behavioral signs of drug abuse

I went to my friend's home to meet him after a long time. I was shocked at his behavior. His attitude was changed. There is a lot of change in his activities and hobbies. Earlier he used to love to play games. But now, he looked very Moody, and easily got irritated. I also observed that, he is in anxious state. Earlier, he used to be among top rankers of class and very sharp at general knowledge. Now, with great difficulty he recognized me. He did not pay much attention to what I said and he suffered from forgetfulness. I was surprised when I saw, sudden anger and unfriendly behavior in him, when I asked him why is he like that. I left from there immediately.

Next day, when I met other friend, I described about the incident and his abnormal behavior. He said that, he is consuming drugs and making friendship with new people who are drug users and suddenly avoided all old friends. He said that his performance is totally degraded and not showing any interest in family and family activities. Hearing this I was astonished and came to know the behavioral signs of drug abuse.

Applicants Are Telling Lies That You Are Not Aware Of

Applicants generally lie about their past job titles and duties, or add academic degrees that they never completed. But these days, candidates are dumping down their credentials so they don’t appear overqualified. Candidates are looking for stopgap jobs and stretching the truth in a different way.

A lot of employees who were into high-end jobs earlier are coming down the ladder just to get a steady paycheck. They’re doing that: changing job titles to look less impressive.

Candidates are also hiding degrees and other academic achievements and they say that they did not receive any calls unless they changed their qualification in their resume.

To spot this lies the interviewer need to ask probing questions during the interview and when checking references.

Many employers want to avoid hiring overqualified employees, who may not work in lower-level work and may constantly have one foot out the door.

How to be photogenic and look beautiful in photos

There are only a few things that anyone can do to look better in photos.
  1. Wear clothes with colors that suit you. Do not wear too bright or too light colors. Do not make your dress dominate your face.
  2. The good thing about photographs is that you can hide certain features that you do not like. You can opt for a particular angle from where you look good. You can know your best angle by experiment using a digital camera.
  3. You can hide your double chin if you have one. Make sure that the camera is a little above than the level of your eyes or you ca also place your tongue on the roof of the mouth. Lift up your neck and slightly tilt down your head this improves facial definition, hides wrinkles and flabby skin.
  4. Take breath and exhale naturally. Do not hold breath otherwise, you look suffocating or tensed. Try to ignore camera. The more relaxed and comfortable you are the better picture will come out.
  5. Smile with your eyes, wider open eyes and relaxed smile. Maintain your posture, sit or stand straight, makes you look healthier and happier.
  6. Choose a good photographer. Professional photographers know how to make beautiful pictures. You can also try changing the lighting effects or filter effects.
  7. Always look slightly above the camera when the picture is being taken.

iPod Nano to Aid for AIDS Charity

Apple is trying to use its successful Nano iPod as a weapon to fight against AIDS. It is to seek the help of activist and rock singer Bono for this.

The program named Project Red is been run successfully by the Global Fund to treat diseases like Malaria and Tuberculosis in Africa. Now it is trying to fight AIDS too. In order to fund this program, Apple officially released the red 4GB iPod nano on the last weekend of January. It can be bought for £129. The device has a capacity to store 1,000 songs, and 25,000 photos. And with a 37mm (1.5-inch) screen, the playtime for its fully charged battery is up to 24 hours.

How is it helpful for fighting AIDS? Well, every red iPod nano you purchase, Apple will donate $10 (£5.40) to the Global Fund. And the Global Fund will use it to fight AIDS in African countries.

Why just in Africa? It is because it is only here where you find around 4,100 people die each day just with AIDS.

EU Court Voids the German and British Rules Over Paid Sick Leave

UK rules are for people who live in UK and German rules for those who live in Germany. And of you are in EU follow those rules what EU created.

A European Union court gave a judgment which almost meant this and helped many workers of European Union who lost the enjoyment of their paid leaves just because they were sick.

According to the sources, the European Union court has passed this rule in favor of workers who were denied paid leaves just because they fell sick, by their employers. It applies to all the workers of 27 nations in European Union as well as to their employers.

It said that the right to claim a paid leave cannot be eroded just because of the illness of the workers and they must be allowed to take a paid leave in some other period.

But there was a criticism on the judgment saying that this would add up to the present constraints of the employers who are already in lay off spree.
